"I had a patient the other day with a very complex medical and familial situation that included some estrangement/abuse. 

Over the course of our session, I sensed she might be someone who would benefit from one of the handmade blankets so I asked her what her preferred colours were.  Not many people answer 'rainbow' but she did and I was pleased to be able to deliver shawl #348 to her (which is a chunky blanket with bright rainbow blocks).

I thought the person who made that one might like to know that it went to someone really needing a 'pick me up' who especially requested a rainbow of colours.
