The beginning of Baba's Blankets

It all began three years ago when my husband and I embarked on a new chapter, embracing life as full-time RVers. Our travels led us across Canada, and during a visit to Newfoundland, I discovered the beautiful crochet work of my sister-in-law. Her stunning blankets and throws inspired me to learn the craft. What started as a newfound hobby quickly blossomed into Baba's Blankets, expanding from cozy throws to pet beds, baby blankets, hats, and baskets. Any unsold items at the end of a season are lovingly donated to women in need, spreading warmth and comfort beyond our customers.

Our unique touch

What sets our crochet products apart is the personal touch of handcrafting every single item. My naturally small hands allow for a very tight and consistent stitch, resulting in durable and beautifully textured pieces. I also take pride in finishing most of our projects with elegant borders, giving each item a polished and refined look that truly elevates its handmade charm.
